Uptown Cafe

1 star is too many for this place. The epitome of horrible Americanised "Chinese" food. Avoid at all costs. Vegetables tasted like table scraps boiled for five hours. Rice was some how both soggy and dry.

I have takeout there once a month. Combination dinner for one. Enough for two meals. I don't understand the criticism. Decent food for a decent price.

Being going to this place for 30 plus years never disappoints

There was no wait to be served. Waitress was polite and straightforward. Food was ready quite fast. All in all a good visit.

Food was terrible. How is it possible to mess up stir fried vegetables? They were gross.

On a Saturday afternoon we stopped at this place for a cup of coffee, but it looked like they weren't ready for anyone yet. The waitress didn't wait on us at all. She know that we were there for coffee, so, she just walked in with the coffees and left! I assume this is more of a Chinese restaurant than a cafe! So don't make the mistake we did! The coffee was good though!

Wow, what a meal !!I ate lunch there today. $12.50 for the #5 meal. It was cooked perfectly and the portion size was so large I couldn't finish it.I will be back often.Thanks for my free lunch Derrick. Oilers made the playoffs and I reap the rewards !!

Family and homey feel. Good food. Chinese as well as Western Menu...

Staff is unfriendly and unprofessional, there were flies everywhere. The waitress didnt come back to see how my table was doing. The restaurant needs updating,it is a real dive.

This last meal was just great. Quick and Hot. Good taste and large portions. Happy with the service and hospitality. Their Lemon Chicken and Hot Pot were unreal good.

Always really good food here. The Chinese special is always fast and hot right at lunch time. I eat here as often as I can and know of many others that love it too.

Just simply my most favorite restaurant in the world. Fast service and delivery of food. Been in business for ever and the home cooked meals have never change in quality in all of my 45 years. No change is cooking styles, decent amounts, always tastes the same. I hope it sucks around till at least after I die or I will die a dad person! Lol

Waitress was great. The food was awful. Our food was late. We got a discount because it was so bad (our waitress had to get it for us because the lady at the till wouldn't) worst restaurant experience ever.

Food is passable and service average. A typical Chinese chopsuey place with no improvement of quality over time.

Food was great. Service not so much. Whether I needed more water or not, waitress should have came back and checked.
